Deb Bain-King is an artist living in Naarm (Melbourne).

Deb's artwork carries an important message about the relationship between humans and the natural world. She uses her projections and slow release photography to create photographs that are unique and mysterious, to celebrate the beauty and resilience of nature. She uses performance to honour landscapes and connect deeply with the environment. She works by herself to document each event as a commemoration to pass on, so that others maybe inspired to a deeper appreciation for our place within nature.

She has been making and showing works of art both in Naarm (Melbourne) and interstate, for almost twenty years as an artist, community activist and curator.

“My art practice is about finding connection to place. I create meaning by bringing feeling, knowledge and experience into a shared awareness.” – DBK
